Welcome to Airy Hill Primary School!

I hope that you enjoy browsing our school website...

The staff, governors and pupils here at Airy Hill are very proud of their school and I feel privileged  to be their headteacher. Our school is an exciting and engaging place with staff who are committed to providing the highest standard of education for every pupil. We value hard work and strive for excellence in all that we do.

We believe that securing the basic skills of reading, writing and maths is essential to give children the best possible start in life. However we deliver a broad curriculum, taught through topics with regular opportunities to learn outside and develop crucial life skills. We tell children to dream, believe, aspire, achieve and these words reflect our commitment to securing children's first years in a lifetime of learning and achievement. Children at Airy Hill are happy and enjoy learning.

Our school is at the heart of the community, we benefit from very strong partnerships with our parents, other schools and the rich culture and traditions that our local area can offer.

Airy Hill School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all the staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We actively promote the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs.

If you are a parent who is considering sending your child to Airy Hill then please don't hesitate to contact the office to arrange for a meeting with me - I'd love to show you around our lovely school.
