Parent Representatives

Our parent representatives meet twice each half term with the Headteacher.

Their role is to:

  • Support the headteacher and other school leaders in communicating the school’s vision and ethos to the wider community
  • Provide support and advice in the delivery of new initiatives or school improvement priorities
  • At meetings, make suggestions or recommendations for future discussion by the group (these must affect groups of pupils, not individual children or staff members)

Meeting 1

The first meeting of the parent representatives was held on Wednesday 5th October 2022.

Items discussed were:

  1. Recruitment of additional parent representatives
  2. Proposals to change the length of the school day
  3. School improvement priorities for the next academic year
  4. Rewards, such as a Caedmon Badge
  5. Extra opportunities for swimming

We are looking for additional parents and carers to join this group.

The next meeting will be held on Wednesday 19th October 2022.
