‘Early Birds’ and ‘Night Owls’

Extended School Provision

We provide an extension to the school through our breakfast and after school clubs. This provision can be used as childcare for working parents or to provide fun, extra-curricular activities for any children from Reception class up to Year 6 that would like to take part.

Extended sessions take place within the school building in a stimulating and nurturing environment with caring staff who get to know your child well. Equipped with comfy furniture, fun activities and friendly faces, our provision will give your child a warm welcome first thing on a morning or after a busy day at school.

Early Birds Breakfast Club

Breakfast club runs from 7:50am until 8:50am daily at a cost of £2.50 per session. This session is run by Mrs Marr and Mrs Kelly

Included in the price is a healthy breakfast made up from a number of options including fruit, yoghurt, cereal and wholemeal toast.

A range of activities take place to support your child’s healthy lifestyle, children play outside when they can and are taken to meet their child’s class teacher at the start of the school day.

Night Owls After School Club

After school club runs daily from 3:30pm until 6pm. This session is run by Miss Weatherill and Miss Elliot.

After school club is split into two sessions and can be purchased separately or together.

Session 1: 3:30pm – 4:30pm costs £2.50

Session 2: 4:30pm – 6pm costs £5 and includes a nutritious snack.

The sessions run flexibly in this way to accommodate children before they attend dance classes or after attending a school sports club.

Autumn Term 1 After School Club Themes 

Monday – Yoga

Tuesday – Gardening

Wednesday – Board Games

Thursday – Cooking or Baking

Friday – Film night

In addition to these themes, we have a range of activities for your child to choose from, we will also listen to them read an provide support for any home learning they may have.

Booking & Payments

All bookings & payments should be made in advance via the ‘My Child at School’ app.

Behaviour Expectations

During our extended provision, children are expected to follow the school’s three rules and consequences.

Admissions

Admissions will be based on a first come first served basis.

Breakfast Club has a capacity of 30 children.

After School Club Session 1 has a capacity of 30 children.

After School Club Session 2 has a capacity of 30 children.
